Artistic Framework
The Project’s over-arching artistic aims are to celebrate the lives and legacy of the people of St Kilda through contemporary European music and new media, to create a high quality platform for Gaelic culture on the international stage.
The Core Creative Content that will be made available to all participating venues includes:
- • A Script and performance template.
- • A Libretto.
- • A Musical Score featuring traditional and newly-commissioned contemporary music.
- • A Gaelic singer at each venue.
- • A 90 minute pre-recorded Film and large screen.
- • A Live Satellite Connection from St Kilda on the evenings of 22 and 23 June 2007.
